Connect What inspired your most recent tattoo?

After my breakup in 2018, I moved back in with my mom, feeling lost and way off of my life plan. Life had taken an unexpected turn, leaving me in a state of depression. But I realized I had a choice: to wither like annuals or bloom again like perennials. I chose to bloom. My tattoo serves as a daily reminder of resilience and my commitment to embracing life’s challenges with strength and hope. I have plans to add onto the theme, as I have so much more of my life’s story to share thr

If your ink could speak, what would it say?

It would say: “I’m part your story, sketched in ink. I’m proof that you survived, adapted and chose to bloom again. Nothing is impossible and if we fall, we’re sure to rise again.”

What would you do with the $25,000?

I would take about $5000 of the money, pay some bills, take a true vacation and do some car repairs. I would save and invest the rest. I need a vacation without worrying if I have PTO, what bills at home I need to pay when I come back or if I even have enough money to take a vacation. I truly need to relax!
