Enter For FreeMy most recent tattoo, much like my others, was not inspired by a theme or idea. It was simply a reflection of my need for an escape. I did not design or even know the design until we were done. It was a convention in Denver that took 3rd place.
If your ink could speak, what would it say?My ink is simply a way for me to escape my brain for a few hours and focus only on myself. The pain is therapeutic and the art creates a safety blanket to protect me from the world and give me confidence to fight through.
What would you do with the $25,000?If it was for tattooing, I would finally get tattoos in a place the world can see. My best friend, who is heavily tattooed, jokes I’m most secretly tattooed person and I’m ready to choose a tattoo for the first time. Instead of using it as an escape, use it as a way to take claim myself, be who I want without bending to reach the expectation of others.
