My ink reflects my love, pain, aspirations & roots. My 'Kare' bear, a Grateful Dead 'Dancing Bear' with wings, reminds me to be free.

Enter For FreeMy latest tattoo was inspired by my brother. We were both getting inked while I was on vacation, and I decided to replicate his sun design from our family's maqii (sauna), which our dad painted for us as kids. Though the tattoo didn't turn out as planned, I want to incorporate the sun into a new piece: a Tree of Life with salmon as roots, reflecting my family's connection to Bristol Bay's commercial fishing heritage.
If your ink could speak, what would it say?“She's got everything delightful. She's got everything I need.” “She's a summer love in the spring, fall and winter.”.... “Sunshine, daydream, walking in the tall trees, going where the wind goes Blooming like a red rose, Now come on over sweetly, Ride out singin', "I got you in the morning sunshine." Sunshine, daydream, Now come on over daydream Sunshine, daydream. Hey come on, Never gonna sweet dream Sunshine, daydream, Wading in a cold stream. -G.D.
What would you do with the $25,000?With $25,000, I'd invest in personal growth (I'd like to become a somatic trainer to work w/ the school districts), scaling my online business(es), and developing a (regional) indigenous based preK-12 curriculum on healthy relationships (self-love) to help combat the suicide and interpersonal violence rates in our region; creating both a positive impact and sustainable income for myself as a single mom. I'm also dreaming of how the new ink would give me the confidence that I've been seeking. -K
