Last year, I battled cancer, a fight I took on not just for myself, but in memory of those I’ve lost, including my mom and close friends.

Learn MoreI got a “fuck cancer” tattoo as a tribute to that journey and to honor their memory. Now, I’m planning a new piece dedicated to my wife, who was my rock through every part of that experience. Her love and support carried me through treatment, the emotional weight of loss, and now the fallout that’s still unfolding, like being laid off from work because of the disruptions treatment caused. This tattoo is to recognize her strength, her sacrifices, and unwavering support.
If your ink could speak, what would it say?If my ink could speak, it would say: You never let me fight alone. To my twin daughters, for their unwavering love through every challenge. To my son-in-law, who called me during treatment every single day, reminding me I was still me. To my other son-in-law, who always reminds me I’m never alone. This tattoo is more than ink, it’s a tribute to the love and support that carried me through.
What would you do with the $25,000?The $25,000 would go toward my astronomical medical bills. If anything is left, I’d take my family on a once-in-a-lifetime experience to celebrate resilience, love, and the moments we almost lost. Whether exploring Europe, standing under the Northern Lights, or tracing our roots. This trip wouldn’t just be about adventure, but about honoring those who carried me through my hardest days and creating memories that will last forever.
