Learn MoreMy most recent tattoo is my Luna moth in the center of my chest. It was inspired by my very first tattoo which I foolishly got on my honeymoon in 1995. I tried to get it removed with laser, 2 cover ups later, I had the beautiful sunflower. To balance the chest out, I chose to place a moon flower on the opposite side, and I learned through my research that moon flowers only bloom at night and attract moths! Update: I tattooed myself so now my most recent is the floral butterfly with a semi colon.
If your ink could speak, what would it say?It would say “We need more friends!” But seriously, I think my ink DOES speak. It says “I am confident”, “I am courageous”, “I am resilient”, “I am beautiful”, “I love my family“,“I am a nurse” and “I love flowers”. The latest ink represents choosing to continue living, when one may have considered ending it, thus the symbolic semi colon butterfly pictured below.
What would you do with the $25,000?Well, in analyzing my selfies to submit for the contest, I’m thinking I should get a nose job, but actually, I think I would use the $25,000 to help fund a tattoo apprenticeship so that I may further my God given artistic talent, enabling me to place the gift of tattoo art upon others.
