My most recent tattoo is a dead tree, placed over the name of my abuser. It was a deeply emotional and empowering decision. The dead tree represents the end of something toxic and the beginning of my healing journey. Covering that name was more than just ink—it was reclaiming my body, my story, and my strength. It’s a reminder that even in death or pain, there’s beauty in growth and in choosing yourself.
If your ink could speak, what would it say?I am her truth in ink—proof that pain can become power. I speak of battles survived and scars transformed into symbols of strength. I’d say: ‘You are not your past. You are fire, reborn from the ashes, and every line etched into your skin is a victory.’ I carry her story, her healing, and her voice—no longer silent, but bold and beautifully unbreakable.
