Connect What inspired your most recent tattoo?

My most recent tattoo was inspired by my family, it’s a bunch of roses. I had one of my older cousins draw out the tattoo for me to bring to my artist. There are 9 leaves for my dad’s side of the family and 4 flowers for my mom’s side of the family. I decided to place this piece on the side of my hip, because my family has always been by my side no matter what.

If your ink could speak, what would it say?

If my ink could speak it would tell a story about a journey through trauma and hardships. It shows how you can go through just about anything and still make it out alive. I have adopted a growth mindset surrounding my future, so the majority of my tattoos have a floral element to them. The placement of each tattoo tells a slightly different story to explain how your past does not define your future, and that you can achieve any goal if you set your mind to it.

What would you do with the $25,000?

If I were to win the 25,000$ I would use the majority of it towards my education. I am currently in veterinary school, and this could help fund my living situation while I’m away at school. I would also use a portion of the money towards getting more tattoos. My dream is to have both of my legs fully covered in tattoos, and this would help me on my journey. I would also probably buy VIP tickets to the New England Metal Festival because they are currently out of my price range as a student.
