Connect What inspired your most recent tattoo?

I use my arms and body as a canvas to tell the story of those I have encountered, adopted, and how these memories have affected my life. My most recent tattoo is an experience of seeing one of my favorite artist, Clozee play a set in the Costa Rica jungle just after one of my best friend’s died tragically so I was navigating the feelings of euphoria in a beautiful place while trying to find a spot for the pain/darkness I was wandering through.

If your ink could speak, what would it say?

Every moment has transformed me into the strong, genuine, powerful, kind brave, wanderlust seeker whose dreams have no bounds. My soul is rich - in the sunlight, in love, in connections, in friendship, in family and that is how these obstacles cannot stop me from achieving all I set forth to do.

What would you do with the $25,000?

If I won the $25,000 I would use this money to help me get out of the debt I’ve acquired while getting to safety following that tragic event. I would donate a portion to mental health initiatives and groups that have supported me through the PTSD and I would give a gift to my parents for being there for me every step of the way.
