Enter For FreeMy most recent tattoo was a tattoo with my sister, a tribute to our Chinese heritage using a hand fan (our last name is also Fan), our zodiac signs (rat and rooster), and red ink, red symbolizing good luck. I was stoked to get my first colored ink tattoo and share the experience with my sister who means the world to me.
If your ink could speak, what would it say?Filled with love and life! I have some that I share with friends from meaningful eras of my life and some with/for family, some purely for the appreciation of the art of tattoo. I don’t feel any heavy pressure for my tattoos to be meaningful/aesthetically pleasing to anyone but me (but it’s a plus if others find joy in them!)
What would you do with the $25,000?I’d use it to help out the nonprofit that I work for, Us Helping Us. We’ve lost funding as a result of federal budget cuts for health research and we’re struggling to get by to continue our services to prevent and treat HIV and other STIs in the DC area.
