By age 18, I survived sex trafficking, a 3 yr long abusive relationship, ODing & coding twice, and miscarrying a baby at 15 that was conceived non-consensually. After ODing for the last time. I went to rehab. In every room was the latin saying “amor fati.” meaning “love of fate.” It’s tatted on my chest to remind me that ugly can become beautiful.

Find beauty in everything. Take everything negative and bad that’s happened to you and turn it into something empowering. Love passionately and LOUDLY. Never apologize for taking up space.
