Two of my tattoos are related to my sobriety. Some of them represent nature and femininity. One is a cat. One a frog, another a mermaid.

Enter For FreeIt’s been a long time since I got a tattoo. My sobriety inspired it. Also I tend to wear my heart on my sleeve. So I got an anatomically correct heart with a lotus growing out of it on my upper arm. Lotuses can grow from mud and to me that’s a beautiful representation of getting clean after the heartbreak of substance abuse and the loss that accompanies it.
If your ink could speak, what would it say?It would say “this girl is weird but she likes cats so she cool” LOL
What would you do with the $25,000?I just got into UC Berkeley as a low-income transfer student and would put it toward my education. I will be studying psychology with the goal of working with juveniles within the carceral or foster care systems, public schools, or working with victims of violent crime - still undecided but keeping an open mind!
