What inspired your most recent tattoo?

I struggle to see the beauty in myself. I had some terrible tats on my fingers. I wanted to put beauty on what was ugly to help see the beauty in myself. Art is therapy to help me heal. There's alot to heal! Ink therapy helps more than anything. I love the pain because it will create something unique and beautiful. I don't want to be like the norm. Standing out brings me joy. In a nutshell it was to stand out and heal whatever is making me believe I'm anything but beautiful.

If your ink could speak, what would it say?

This pain-every session has resulted in beauty and healing. Culture resonates through in each stroke from indigenous to shows and movies that have kept this soul here. Each represents every change that has kept here what stands before you. Each standing for a uniquely strong person. As they say sometimes beauty requires pain. Not being able to work on cars has brought pain, losing a husband~emense pain, but the pain of tattoos will forever turn pain into growth, happiness and healing.

What would you do with the $25,000?

I would definitely get a car for my children n I. I've always had a car, since the first I bought myself @ 16 after I graduated early. It's been a struggle not having one. Unfortunate events led to me losing mine. I've worked hard to get a home for my kids and I. So that would be the last thing I need to change my struggles exponentially. Depending on others has impacted me more than ever. I'd finally have my independence back! Walking with an injured back from the abuse has just made it worse.
