Kayla Scott

I have individual tattoos, but my dream is to have a banner of art done from my left hand to my right foot, dedicated to my life with CPTSD.

What inspired your most recent tattoo?

My small campfire tattoo on my neck was i spired by being reborn from the fire. I recently reconnected with my faith and the campfire in my childhood was probably the only thing I could connect happiness to for myself for a long long time.

If your ink could speak, what would it say?

“This woman is not a girl anymore, shes colorful, shes vibrant, shes deep and unafraid of vulnerability and yet she’ll knock your socks clean off with a smile on her face if you mess with her peace. Sugar and Spice was named after her, so watch it bub.”

What would you do with the $25,000?

Honestly, I would be helping the people who have helped me through the last decade of healing Ive gone through. Im about to graduate and my loans are my responsibility, but I would gladly give my winnings to those who sacrificed for me and my son to be where we are today. I only have student debt, and my that’s on me. But I would buy a piece of peace for my family, no matter the cost.
