My ink is my story. Each piece represents a family member or a part of my story. They remind me of the resilience and love that got me here.

Learn MoreMy most recent tattoo was inspired by my father. My faith has grounded me for so long, but amidst a terminal diagnosis, I look at my piece and try to release the anger and remember everyone’s life has a plan, even if I don’t understand it.
If your ink could speak, what would it say?It would probably both laugh and cry. It would tell you stories of it’s trauma, and how the reminders they give aren’t always happy. But that we’ve come a long way together, and now get to share our ink with others and establish relationship and conversations that love on or inspire others. That wouldn’t be the case without them.
What would you do with the $25,000?Honestly, I don’t have the perfect cookie cutter answer for this. I have ideas, like setting up more savings for my daughter to have to cover school in the future or help her when she’s older. But also would want to donate it to a cause my dad believed in, and continue supporting the charities he gives to currently.
