Connect What inspired your most recent tattoo?

My most recent tattoo was inspired by my need for a softer, more peaceful side to life, a search for oneness with the universe. The turmoil I've experienced throughout my life had my emotional state to a point of being non-existent, and mentally I was breaking from reality. My spirituality has been my only saving grace, and barely even that.

If your ink could speak, what would it say?

Each tattoo on my body signifies a newfound strength I didn't know was in me. Every time I thought there was no fight left in me, I would instinctively shut down as a defensive mechanism before re-emerging with a willpower to keep living. I didn't know why, but I knew I needed to be alive, and that knowledge kept me thriving and blossoming in the darkness and through all of the crap I endured.

What would you do with the $25,000?

First, I'd pay off the debt I owe and get caught up on bills because the last 24 months have been a real struggle having been laid off from three different companies/corporations during this period. Then, I'd do something spontaneous for my significant other for standing by me through all of the good and even more so through all of the bad that's gone on. He deserves so much more than I've been able to provide. After that, I'd like to get more tattoos, and put whatever is left in my savings.
