Enter For FreeMy most recent tattoo happened to be a full leg blackout done with some negative space showing my old work. Inspired by new beginnings, a covering of my old work along with some of the old work showing through. Inspired by the idea new growth along with never forgetting where you were. I don’t believe in removing tattoos but just reworking or covering. Never to truly leave the body.
If your ink could speak, what would it say?Tattoos say something about who you are, hence the undying beauty in tattoos. My personal tattoo journey would speak about family, death, love, tradition, and life. They would scream of the amazing people I have met, artist I have witnessed, places I have been. They stand tall and clear as if stain glass windows in a church on the hill. How can something with no voice speak so loudly? Tattoos can do that for everyone. Speak of pain, endurance, commitment.
What would you do with the $25,000?I would love to be able to finish up my degree in hopes to purse something I truly enjoy doing. People wake up day in and day out doing the same thing over and over just to make it. Something like this can create a small pivot to making huge changes in someone’s life. I’m hoping that can be just an average Joe like me. Show people that change can happen with a little push
