Connect What inspired your most recent tattoo?

My most recent tattoo is a tooth on the back of my arm because I’m a dental assistant, so not very creative. But I do have quite a few pieces that are responsible for trauma that I’ve been through in my life, and that are constant reminders that things will get better. God plays a big factor in them (like w my Romans 8:18 Godspeed quote) tattooed on my left knee.

If your ink could speak, what would it say?

It would say that I am using my body as a Canvas. That with every tattoo I have on my body there is in someway shape or form a meaning behind it whether it’s funny or whether it is super personal and healing to me. I have a couple pieces I want touched up and added more detail to which intern will help any other tattoos that I get around that piece. Your body is your body, and it’s already as original as it can be, so why not just continue to add to it? Why not dress it up some?

What would you do with the $25,000?

I would do so much. I have a huge cover up piece that I want to get done on my left hip for my grandmother and my stepmom. It’s going to be a very intricate detailed piece and I’m so excited for it. I also want to get a portrait of my pitbull on my left arm starting my sleeve because he passed in September of last year and he was my soul dog. The 25,000 will also help me get out of debt and to help me get a new car so that way I can continue to pursue going back to school for hygieni
