It was inspired by a year and a half of intense personal discovery, understanding & growth. I was diagnosed with 5 different mental illnesses that I’ve had to learn how to navigate while also confronting my past, mostly childhood, traumas. They serve as a reminder to use the reflecting on my past as a tool of transformation for my future. I was inspired to get these tattoos because they serve as a visual reminder of the hurt and pain I’ve overcome & the rejection of the ident

My ink would say, “this girl is multifaceted, resilient, creative and confidently creating her own identity”. They would speak of the acceptance I’ve had to come to terms with, my love of different styles of art and my inability to fit into a box. My tattoos are reflective of the fact that I’m no longer ashamed of my big emotions or the identity I want to create. I’m no longer shrinking myself to fit into the box my abusers created for me.

I would take $15k of the winnings and split it in half - $7.5k would go to Fostering Hope Animal Rescue and the other $7.5k would go to Saving Grace Animal Rescue. Then, I would take my husband on a trip to Portugal, a bucket trip of ours. He’s been through so much this past year, from taking me to the hospital, visiting me in the hospital, taking time off to take care of me, the constant worry of if I’ll be alive when he gets home, he deserves a trip. We need some time to reconnect.
