Enter For FreeMy most recent tattoo is of an angel wrapped around barbed wire. This, like most of my tattoos, is inspired by the ache of being trapped in a painful and dark reality, yet still fighting to keep my heart and innocence intact. It represents how some of the most delicate and pure beings can be held down by pain, trauma, or circumstances they never asked for. The barbed wire is the world- cold and sharp while the angel is still gentle, still holding on even though she's hurt.
If your ink could speak, what would it say?It would tell you about the girl who didn’t think she’d make it, and how each tattoo became a reminder to keep going. Battling poverty and familial trauma throughout my early life, my ink is proof that pain can turn into power, and scars can turn into something beautiful.
What would you do with the $25,000?Help my mom pay off her medical debt.
