Enter For FreeHumanity recently has changed my perspective on life whether that be through wars, political issues, poverty, and greed. I decided to come up with a conceptual piece of art that represents the 7 deadly sins. The sins (demons) are wrapped around and chaining down a dragon. This dragon represents the good trying to outweigh the evil of the world, fighting for its life. I believe this piece speaks for many of us fighting for a chance, against a system that keeps us down.
If your ink could speak, what would it say?My ink is a representation of my life story. It has shown the struggles, triumphs and accomplishments I have made throughout the years. I have been stopped by strangers who have said my pieces speak to them, and they can compare their own story to mine as we speak about my meaning behind them. My ink is about sharing with my community through art, and telling a story many people can relate to.
What would you do with the $25,000?With the $25,000 I would like to give back to my community. As a teenager I struggled in school, and getting into a bad crowd. To give back I would pursue helping teenagers in similar situations see a different perspective whether that be through finding a passion, career, and overall drive that would get them out of their situation, and allow them to become the best version of themselves.
