What inspired your most recent tattoo?

My most recent tattoo is a gothic reinterpretation of the Russian folklore surrounding Baba Yaga—a tribute to the wild, untamable, dark feminine energy carried by the women in my lineage. I’ve always been drawn to folklore that embraces both shadow and strength. She symbolizes feminine spirit in its most primal and powerful form. I wanted to depict Baba Yaga’s house. I reimagined the house as a cathedral in the woods. I gave it a more personal, darker twist that honors women.

If your ink could speak, what would it say?

Stories of reclamation—how I’ve intentionally rebuilt the relationship with my body, transforming it into a sacred, adorned altar. Each tattoo marks a chapter in my spiritual journey, guiding me through healing, transformation and rebirth. Tattooing has been the most radical act of self-love I’ve ever offered my body. In reclaiming my skin, I’ve reclaimed my power. The feminine symbols allows me to be rooted in my divine feminine, connected to the sacredness of my body.

What would you do with the $25,000?

I am involved in Chicago's music scenes and aim to give back to my community that gave so much by donating/investing in Girls Rock! music education program. I'm passionate about donating to THORN, a Chicago-based self-defense initiative that provides essential tools and training for trans people of color. Safety is a right, not a privilege. Investing in these programs is an act of gratitude and love for the city. Pouring into the spaces that nurtured us creates community where everyone thrives.
