It’s the story of 50 years of (my) life told by different artists from different shops in different parts of the world - but all in INK.

Enter For FreeI have played Santa Claus for our charity (@clauswithacause) for the last 3 years. Around the same time I started doing that, one of my best friends had a son born with delayed speech, etc. He has been like a grandson to me so I go see him and go to his activities and whatnot (always as Santa). Due to his late speech development he has been unable to say the word Santa - he says “Yanta” instead. So last Christmas I had the word “Yanta” tattooed on my wrist.
If your ink could speak, what would it say?My art (ink) is a constant companion to me no matter where I go or what I do. My ink has been with me through thick and thin. Good times and bad. It has been with me as my spirit and soul have evolved over time. It tells the story of a boy turned into a man who is deeply flawed and broken but is learning to heal. Like a book or painting, or record, it is the physical manifestation of my journey through this life. It says, unapologetically, this is me - this is who I am. This is my story.
What would you do with the $25,000?As I mentioned above I play Santa Claus for our charity. Each Christmas season we select a family that has been the victim of parental suicide during the holidays, and we give them the money I made/raised that season. The past 2 seasons I have only made enough money ($1-2K per season) to help one family. $25K would allow Santa to give $3K to 8 families!! And that is exactly what I would do. I would use the extra thousand dollars to formally set up my 501(c)(3) as a charitable organization!
Body art deserves to be shown off.
