I was born and raised in Alaska, am a single mom, and have Primary HLH which is usually a fatal disease. My sleeve is my 50th birthday gift to myself. I didn't have any tattoos until a few months ago. My sleeve is a reminder of my life, what brings me peace, and a visual queue for me to slow down and enjoy today as tomorrow is never promised.
If your ink could speak, what would it say?My ink would talk about the spirit world protecting the animals and people of Alaska. It would sing about the spirits of our elders soaring with the Ravens and watching over me, my family , and my great state.
