My dad…it’s hard losing ur Superman. I’ve endured so much loss in my lifetime, I’ve decided to steer away from the whole RIP thing and instead get things that at first look, you will know exactly why and for whom. I’m super into black because my skin doesn’t really allow for color to stand out. I’m currently deciding on 1 for my son Adam Henry who passed 08-31-24 at the age of 23 in a car wreck heading to work on his day off to cover for his cousin.

If your ink could speak, what would it say?

This girl has been thru it and still walks, talks, and breathes. I am Native American from the Arrow Lakes Band of the Colville Reservation. My band was actually declared an extinct people in Canada in the 1990’s and is still listed as such. Pútí Kwu áľá = WE ARE STILL HERE!!

What would you do with the $25,000?

I would donate $10,000 to the Arrow Lakes Aboriginal Society to help with transportation for bringing our elders and members in general across the Canadian Border to show we are still here. They make a couple trips a year but could be more often. The rest I would make as many repairs as I could to my house to bring it to suitable living conditions. Rez vs. Reality is quite the mismatch💔💔💔
