it is to honor my love for music. I have such a fond memory of listening to the radio & waiting hours for songs to come on & recording them to make Mixtapes for my friends as a kid. Then sprinkle in a lyric from my current favorite band, Real Friends, the song is "Six Feet", the lyric is,"You & me on empty streets, mixtape on repeat" around a trad style cassette tape with a checkered label (paying homage all those checkered Vans ive owned)
If your ink could speak, what would it say?I genuinely dont know, ive gone back and forth between the "tattoos have to mean something" to the "I want a bottle of Tajin tattooed on my shin" (Yes, I have that tattood), But if I had to guess my ink would say, "man, this girl has loved, lost and lived quite a colorful life"
What would you do with the $25,000?I would pay off medical bills, put some towards the new home my husband and I have been working tirelessly to save for and maybe finally get that honeymoon we deserve... oh, and of course get some new Permanent artwork!
