My most recent was a broken chain link that I had done on the left side of my top surgery scars. I wanted something that felt like it represented being free from the dysphoria my chest caused me, and that felt like a good, subtle call to it. I also got a honey bear the same day, because I’ve been called sweet, and I feel more bear-ish than butch these days!
If your ink could speak, what would it say?That this person has a lot of passion, but also whimsy. I have a big tattoo of my dog just because I love her so much, but I also have a crystallized skull because I thought it was cool. I’ve got silly stars that a favorite actress drew on a sticky note, and a teacup that me and my best friend got on a whim to match each other. And then I have a giant Lady Dimitrescu on my arm, but also a piece from my friend’s senior thesis. I have range.
What would you do with the $25,000?I’d love to say I’d do something crazy or go on a big spending spree, but-realistically? I’d pay off my student loans and the car I’ve been financing so I can finally be debt free; and use whatever’s remaining towards a trip to visit my sister and nephew overseas.
