Enter For FreeIn 2012, my twin daughters passed at birth, just shy of 20 weeks. In 2015, their mom became pregnant w/ twin girls, again. This time she went into labor @ 21 weeks & gave birth to them at 23 weeks and 2 days. My daughter Aria was born weighing 15oz, & Natalie was born at 1lb2oz. They were in the NICU for 140 & 147 days respectively & are happy and healthy almost 10yo today. They are the owls that carry the soul of their sisters who passed, who are signified as lions due to zodiac
If your ink could speak, what would it say? It'd say: The pain felt with every single line of ink, pales in comparison to the pain that inspired it to be there. The pocket watch on my palm for example shows the time my daughters Aria & Natalie were born & the entire time it was driven into my palm, I thought of the hours, days, weeks, & months they laid in the NICU, enduring 100s of heel pokes for blood, oxygen crashes & emergency surgeries. It's a tribute to the fight & strength they showed us all to beat the odds.
What would you do with the $25,000?I would donate at least $5,000 to the Ronald McDonald house in Long Branch, NJ. A house across from Monmouth Medical Center that allows families to stay there for free, whom have children or family in the hospital. It's difficult to explain what that place means to me, and the impact it had on my family. I would also donate a portion to a foundation called Michael's Feat, who helps families with children in the NICU. The rest will most likely go to my children's extra curricular activities.
