Laura Fegley

Strength, hope, success, protection. It was not suppose to be my whole leg. The tattoo was done freehand with no stenciling.

What inspired your most recent tattoo?

The stairway to heaven is in memory of my mom. She passed two years ago. She said she saw her husband Al, had no pain, could walk with both legs and had use of her arm. She said he took her hand and walked with her to the stairs that had a soft glow from up top. She said Al left her once she walked up two steps. She said it was the stairway to heaven. She described it in such detail, such beauty and peace. It reminds me that she is home, always watching over me and is at peace.

If your ink could speak, what would it say?

Hope floats. Success can be achieved. Protection comes from our guardian angels who look down on us. Strength comes from within, from help with others in our lives. Never give up, keep going, keep showing up. Your stronger then you think. You are important, loved and most of all you matter!!

What would you do with the $25,000?

I would donate a good portion to my favorite charity schriners hospital. I would also take the money to help the homeless, single mothers in abusive relationships wanting to get out but need help. I would also set aside some for my grandson so his medical bills would be covered.
