Connect What inspired your most recent tattoo?

I was at a place in my life where I felt lost and needed to feel connected to something that made me truly 'feel' alive. The swirls represent rising up from things that bring me down, and the paw prints are my connections to my passion of animals and their welfare.

If your ink could speak, what would it say?

Don't take life for granted, and don't get a tattoo when you are not in your right mindset... I really wanted a Phoenix, but when you are alone, not in the right frame of mind, depressed, and don't have anyone else that you are able to talk to that understands what you are going through, things don't always work out how you expect. There's always tomorrow, and is ok to not be ok...

What would you do with the $25,000?

I would use the money to have this tattoo redone into a Phoenix, so I don't have to be ashamed for my past mistakes, and so I'm not afraid to be me. I have a lot of scars from self harm that this tattoo tried to conceal. I was embarrassed to wear shorts or dresses because of this.
