Connect What inspired your most recent tattoo?

My most recent tattoo is a phoenix. Which represents transformation. Through life we experience things that are sometimes unimaginable but we adapt to change and come out stronger, better than we imagined.

If your ink could speak, what would it say?

My ink would tell the story of transformation of self love. The butterfly girl on my ribs is broken but her wings still carry her high, while the firefighter on my calf is bravery. Each butterfly represents change. The Phoenix is sacrifice to be better. My dad’s name is reminder of unconditional love and the angel who watches over me . Love is scripture is a reminder of what love is and is not.

What would you do with the $25,000?

During the pandemic I started a small business from home called Queen of the Cones creating handmade waffle cones that are filled with cheesecake! I would take that $25,000 and open my store front I’ve been dreaming of for 5 years. I had my children at a very young age (15) and I just want to give hope to other young women that you can still become whatever you want to be no matter what how long it takes.
