Connect What inspired your most recent tattoo?

I have always been a floral person and my grandma gave me the nickname “Lilac” because she wanted all of her granddaughters to have a floral nickname. I have 5 roses. The big one at the top is for my mom and the other 4 are for me and my 3 siblings the 2 smaller roses are for my 2 youngest siblings and they are blooming representing them growing because my mom was on drugs and not around growing up leaving me to raise my siblings as the oldest and teach them how to bloom on their own

If your ink could speak, what would it say?

Although I only have one tattoo, I would love to have many more because as an artist myself, I love art so much and I see my body as a canvas, I’ve been through so much at a young age and having to grow up too fast I feel like my ink would represent me finally having control of something in my life that makes me happy and finally feeling beautiful in the art on my body. Art has always been an outlet for me and at one point I wanted to be a tattoo artist but I never had the funds.

What would you do with the $25,000?

I would be able to pay my grandmothers medical expenses because I am her full time caregiver as well as get an apartment for us to live in with no stairs so that it’s easier for her to walk up. Also I would be able to get our belongings out of storage and get an electric bike so that I don’t have to pay $200 every week Ubering to and from work because I am not able to drive due to my medical condition (I have cataplexy) which is involuntary muscle weakness.
