My most recent tattoo was a tramp stamp with a cross going down between my cheeks. My girlfriend got it for me for Christmas — I’m Jewish! I felt it was a fitting celebration of the holiday and of the cross in general. More simply, I’ve just been wanting a classy tramp stamp forever and I was so excited to finally do it!
If your ink could speak, what would it say?Freedom and liberation is everything. Bodies can be reclaimed, minds can be reclaimed, those who torment and scar us do not own us. Pain doesn’t own us. Skin is ours to do with what we please, and marks of the past can be covered in art, art that heals and revitalizes a skin suit that was violated so many times. My ink is power and survival.
What would you do with the $25,000?I would put it towards law school! My ultimate goal is to be a juvenile defense attorney working with incarcerated and foster transition aged youth. I don’t come from wealth, so I am working my a** off every day to get to a place where I can support myself through education. In this economy, working 3 jobs is still not enough.
