I wouldn't say there was specific inspiration for my latest tatttoo. My tattoos are a reminder to myself, that at 57 years old, you are never too old to try to feel good about yourself! I see comments on social media giving grief to older people getting tattoed, and I think everyone owes it to themselves to do whatever it takes to find self love! Nobody has to love your ink besides you. If you smile when you look at your artwork, then nothing else matters!
If your ink could speak, what would it say?I think my ink DOES speak; I think everyone’s ink speaks. It’s such a personal thing, and I think even when you don’t think your tattoos tell a story, they do. Mine would say that I prefer ink jewelry to metal jewelry, and that family means everything. I have 2 tattoos for family I’ve lost, and as long as I live, I will honor my departed family members this way. I can't think of a more profound way to keep their memories alive than to have an artistic visual reminder
What would you do with the $25,000?I'd help my daughter pay off her student loans, put some in my daughter and grandsons savings accounts, and save a little for a rainy day - or my next tattoo :)
