The majority of my ink is from traveling, tattoos are my souvenirs. Most are inspired by my family members, especially my Mom.

Learn MoreLast year I was walking in a crosswalk in my town and I was hit by a 4X4 crew cab truck making a left turn. My right ankle was shattered, 3 plates and 25 screws. Could have been worse. I had the luck of the Irish or something looking out for me. I reached out to one of my tattoo artists to design a cross and shamrock with green and orange like Ireland's flag. She did a great job. I love it! Represents my Irish Catholic background well.
If your ink could speak, what would it say?Every tattoo I have has a purpose, a memory tied to it or a specific story. My mom took me for my first tattoo the summer before my Senior year of high school in 1986. I got a rose on my ankle. She said she would get a butterfly. She passed away in 2000 at 53 never having a tattoo. Years later in 2022 approaching 53 having only two tattoos I got a butterfly in her memory. Since then I've had a few memorial tattoos with her birth flower and butterflies. I wish I knew what she thought of them.
What would you do with the $25,000?It’s been rough since the accident, but I'm so thankful to be alive!!! I’m still in a wheelchair, working hard at physical therapy learning to walk again. I have two wonderful boys that I love with all my heart. They took care of me when I was at my worst. Now that I'm able to travel l'd take them on an amazing vacation, some great concerts and help them with college money/loans. They are my world.
