What inspired your most recent tattoo?

I wanted to get something that represented my family. I’m originally from Missouri, so the state tree is dogwood which provided flowers for the butterflies, which represents my mom and her parents. When my grandparents passed, there were butterflies around at the cemetery. My oldest daughter wrote a story about the butterflies being my grandmother, waiting for my grandfather to be buried, so he could join her.

If your ink could speak, what would it say?

That I miss my family, but feel they are always with me. My calves tattoo shows my pride in my federal service and love of New Mexico.

What would you do with the $25,000?

Probably invest it, if I can find a safe place. Never know when one of may be in a bind & need it later.
