My ink is unique because it highlights the importance of mentorship. Tattooing lives on by the art of apprenticing and learning.

Enter For FreeMy most recent tattoos are inspired by my mentors and artists, Matt and Q. I look up to them and allow them to express their styles using my skin as their canvas. While Matt does beautiful florals and lettering, q focuses on horror and realism. A wide range of work comes from Metro Tattoo, Tucson AZ, which also happens to be where Anthony Michaels (season 7 ink master winner) began his journey. It is a shop of great history and versatility, which i feel should be highlighted in Inked Magazine.
If your ink could speak, what would it say?My ink would discuss the significance of versatility. While i have an entire horror sleeve, i also have more feminine pieces as well on the rest of my body, which expresses that art is in everything and in all themes/styles. My ink would talk about the journey of my mentors and how tattooing became their passion, and soon to be mine. My ink would discuss an insane coverup on my arm as well… like an entire quarter sleeve.. anyways the ink that has come from this shop comes from legacy.
What would you do with the $25,000?I would invest a lot of the money into the shop in hopes to grow its name and legacy. It is a staple of Tucson AZ and deserves a lot more credit for what it is doing for the community. Client retention is one of the shops major successes due to the brilliant customer service and continued loyalty and devotion to growth in the craft of tattooing. Being in the military during the day and coming to the shop at night is my current routine, and i know it’ll all be worth it in the end.
