My grandchildren. They range from 16 to 2. I have an image that represents each of them. They each can tell you what character on my arm represents them. From dragons to fairies and even a little groundhog. The characters on my arm are like hugs from my grand children every time I look at them.
If your ink could speak, what would it say?It started with self awareness. I've always loved the inked look but was hesitant because of the stigma in my job. I'm a nurse. And in my 50's. I decided it was time to be who I wanted to be. Not the acceptable image of a nurse. It would say this: I am me, I am brave and bold. I am passionate and caring. I am not the stigma or the exception. I am only me.
What would you do with the $25,000?I'm a travel nurse. I travel the country and work where I am needed. I have a home i never see, an extended family I never see. One day I would like to sell my home, buy property and be environmentally self sufficient. Garden, animals etc. This would be the bump that would make it possible a full year sooner than planned. But ofcourse, I would take a small amount and get more " tattoo therapy". Way better than acupuncture and beautiful results to boot.
