My most recent is my IGY6 knuckle tattoo. 15 years in the Military, firm believer of not leaving anyone behind, to include family and brothers and sisters in Uniform. We all fight out silent battles, but this is a reminder that you dont have to fight them alone. I contemplated suicide once, and I had people watching my 6.
If your ink could speak, what would it say?That my story is far from finished. That we chose how we carry our marks/ wounds / scars. That there are multiple ways to tell my story, but when you look at my ink individually, each carry a unique moment in time, something that marked my life and something I am proud of.
What would you do with the $25,000?I will get a back piece I’ve ever wanted and I will save the rest for my son. As a single dad of a teenager boy who loves music and soccer, I will make sure he will get to start living his dreams too.
