Enter For Freecliché? My most recent tat is my dog’s name, Tequi. When I was 18 I painted this mythical fox I had dreamt; he was white, glowing blue under the night sky. Later that year I decided to buy my first dog. It was the first time I had really made a decision I wanted something and saved up. I wanted a long hair chihuahua but couldn’t find one. If your ink could speak, what would it say?My ink reflects my belief in power and magic. There is magic when we take ink to paper (or skin). We transcend our thoughts and experiences. My left side says, “I am magic past. I have grown, I have lived.” My right? “I am magic present & future. I am capable, I can, and these are my guides. What would you do with the $25,000?I am a professional pastry chef, but also an aspiring herbalist. I believe in the healing power of food and nature. I have so many dreams, from launching my own pastry shop in upstate New York, to launching a socially conscious food brand, to traveling the world learning and documenting the history and magic in foods and food medicine around the world. All of which take money. Honestly, if I win $25k, it would go into investments so that hopefully I don’t have to pick just one.
