What inspired your most recent tattoo?

My most recent tattoo was personalized to my husband of 13 years. It is a multicolored rose with the musical notes to his favorite song. I did this piece because my world was so dark and muddied before he came into my life and the rose and colors symbolize how he pulled me from the darkness and helped me blossom into the person I am today.

If your ink could speak, what would it say?

I have had a rough go at life and have had a lot on my plate all at once at different points . All of my ink will show you where I was at at different points in my life, and how I continued to evolve and change. My ink is very personal to me and I use it to express myself and to put my emotions on display. It is important to me and it shows.

What would you do with the $25,000?

I would use it to continue my education in my passion to be a teacher in K-12 special education, and to continue to better my life and my family's life. I would also use it to help me in my venture to create resources in my small town for children on the Autism spectrum and that are developmentally delayed.
