My most recent tattoo is a tattoo of Betty Boop on my left thigh. Growing up, unfortunately i didn’t have my father around and was raised by my grandma and my step-grandpa. He was my best friend and became my father figure. He passed away due to liver failure when i was six years old and he had the devil version of Betty Boop. So, i got her as a tribute to him.

My tattoos would say that i am resilient and stronger than i ever thought i was. That my story isn’t as beautiful as people have believed. My tattoos showed me how physically and mentally strong i can be. They’ve taught me confidence. They’re a reminder to stay strong, be tough and how to push through pain. Some pieces remind me to stay focused on myself and my happiness. Others remind me of feminine power and the strength of being a woman.

My grandmother, mom and i recently have moved out of the city and to a new house. We hit financial struggles right after moving and my grandmother lost her job. As well as now facing medical struggles. With the money, i will be able to help pay towards her mortgage so she has a few months without the stress of money. My grandmother has raised me since i was a year and a half and she deserves everything. My life would not be half of what it was without her and i would give her my life if possible
