I wanted something personal that represented my heritage. I am Canadian born to immigrant parents who emigrated here from the Philippines separately as young adults and met in Vancouver. I honor them with my Filipino sun and national flower tattoo. The tattoo I got done prior to that is the chakra symbols down my spine. I began my spiritual awakening in 2016. This transformation gave me the strength to leave an abusive marriage and enabled me to start a better life with my 2 boys. Now I thrive.
If your ink could speak, what would it say?I am grounded. I am strong. I am whole. I am love. I am authentic. I am an individual that is part of a oneness. I choose happiness. I choose love. I choose myself. I am unapologetically me.
What would you do with the $25,000?I would invest it so that I can make more- I want God to use my wallet to bless others…I want to help my parents and friends, charities and positive endeavors that will help raise others who are lost. I want to help others feel as blessed as I am. And to let others know it all starts from within. Mindset is everything.
