Marah McDonnell

I feel like the meaning of it makes it so unique. Releasing myself of generational trauma and sexual abuse and becoming my own person.

What inspired your most recent tattoo?

I have always found myself drawn to the beauty of nature, even thought some of it may seem bland or gross to some people. Beauty is around all of us, even the smallest things have their own purposes. The vine on my finger not only represents releasing myself of trauma and abuse, but it represents finding my unique beauty and purpose in this world. The path of healing is a long one, but I have truly felt so beautiful with this tattoo and more tattoos I’m planning on getting.

If your ink could speak, what would it say?

It would say you’re worth everything and you’re beautiful. Your beauty is unique to yourself and you shouldn’t let anyone tell you otherwise or make you think you’re not worth a thing. We are all here for our own purposes, and your life is worth every single second of it.

What would you do with the $25,000?

Set myself up to start my own journey as an adult and donate some of it to charities that need it, most likely ALS research charities or LGBTQ+ organizations!
