Connect What inspired your most recent tattoo?

After recently losing my baby sister this past year, a lot of older childhood memories came to surface through my grief. My mom wasn’t around much but i was reminded of when my sister was just born, - I was 7, and my mom would tell us 3, i love you more than the sun, the moon + the stars (my brother, me, my sister). So after traveling to Bali for 4 months w my son after her passing, i decided to get a dual ornamental style tattoo on my shins representing the sun, moon, + stars.

If your ink could speak, what would it say?

If my ink could speak; it would communicate an unlikely amount of pain, strife, and suffering that is by no questions asked present underneath, yet masked by unexpected beauty, grace, & tact. Much like myself + my life experience, my tattoos carry stories of a lifetime of unrelenting struggle but through the face of it all, they (me) come poised, beautiful, best face forward, and ready to tackle all face on!

What would you do with the $25,000?

If I won the $25,000, I would relocate out of California and finally go buy a small home for my son and I in a more affordable state. I’ve been a 100% single mom to my son for 11 years, never had received child support, have fought ruthlessly to get away from DV, and graduated college a degree in Architecture 6 months pregnant w my son - which inevitably changed the course of my own dreams. Life is tough, but everyday we have to take steps in forward motion, even if it’s just baby st
