Seeking the quiet peace of nature, my grandfather imprinted on me, has become a life’s passion. My work is inspired by this love for nature & critters. Im drawn to winged creatures. As a child I saw a harpy in a book of folklore—captivated—she tattooed herself onto my heart. Envisioning myself as a winged girl, flying from her cage to freedom. I sought this freedom through many avenues. I’ve found this freedom as a grown woman. The harpy forever marks my upper leg.

What would you do with the $25,000?We adopted a girl from China living with Down Syndrome. She will never leave home as our biological kids have. We plan to build a home in the country. We’d love to give our girl a safe & quiet place to grow & flourish. To live a life of exploration in nature.
