Enter For FreeI started yoga a little over a year ago and did a lot of somatic work in a few of the classes. It released so much stored trauma I wasn't even aware of. I continued practicing and found yoga freed me from my PTSD while allowing me to find inner peace and strengthen my body. My most recent tattoo is an unalome with a namaste symbol. The artist designed it to represent my growth and new inner strength along with my dedication to being a yogi.
If your ink could speak, what would it say?My ink would say: Life is all about self expression, love of oneself, healing, and acceptance of oneself and others. Your body is the only one you have in this life, respect it, mold it, and decorate in a way that makes you feel alive and proud to be you.
What would you do with the $25,000?I would use to to setup a new business. I have been wanting to open up an alcohol free zone with coffee, tea, and kava that offers small productions, open mic nights, weekend yoga, free group therapy, and classes for the arts such as costuming, makeup, etc. I want a safe space for those to come together and feel welcomed and supported as artists, and for patrons who are not in the arts to learn and appreciate new styles of art they may not be familiar with.
