My unique heritage of being half Scottish and half Lebanese and having lost both my parents in the last 5 years. I wanted to take the unique aspects of both their lineage and represent them coming together to make a hybrid of both cultures in me. I have a family crest on my Scottish side but wanted to incorporate elements from my Lebanese side.
If your ink could speak, what would it say?I like to think my current tattoo that’s dedicated to my mom helps give me a little of her wisdom and guidance. I would love for my new one to do that as well but from both of my parents now that my father passed in November. They taught me so much but this would be a visual daily reminder of all they armed me with(hence the sword and shield).
What would you do with the $25,000?Aside from getting more amazing ink? Travel. I’m a huge national parks guy and Anthony Bourdain is like my pope. So I would plan an epic adventure seeing some remote areas of the world. Maybe picking up some regional ink along the way! Some of those stops would be to Scotland and Lebanon to get a better understanding of my roots and hopefully grow closer to my ancestors who are no longer here, like my parents.
