Connect What inspired your most recent tattoo?

My most recent tattoo was inspired by the Athena statue in downtown Athens, Georgia, near the University of Georgia where I go to school. Athena represents wisdom, strength, and strategy—all qualities I strive for in my academic and personal life. The statue has become a symbol of resilience and growth during my time at UGA, so having it permanently inked felt like a tribute to everything this chapter of my life has taught me.

If your ink could speak, what would it say?

If my ink could speak, it would probably start by thanking me for taking care of it, for keeping it moisturized, protected, and healed so it could settle into place. But more than that, it would reflect on everything it’s witnessed. It’s been with me through long nights of studying, moments of doubt, quiet growth, and small victories that added up over time. It would talk about how it’s seen me evolve into someone stronger, more grounded, and more sure of who I am becoming.

What would you do with the $25,000?

If I had $25K, I’d definitely set some aside to invest for the future, but I’d also use part of it to do something meaningful and personal. I’d either finish my leg sleeve or get a sick back piece I’ve been dreaming about—something that tells a deeper story. And no matter what, I’d buy my mom some roses, her favorite flowers. It’s a small gesture, but she means everything to me, and no amount of money or flowers could ever come close to repaying her for
