My most recent tattoo is my daughter’s name. She’s my greatest inspiration and the reason I push forward every day. I placed her name above the wings on my neck, symbolizing how she gave me purpose, strength, and a new direction in life.
If your ink could speak, what would it say?It would say: this man fought for everything he has. My ink would tell you about sacrifice, family, struggle, and passion. It would say that I never forget where I came from, and that every scar and every drop of ink is a badge of honour.
What would you do with the $25,000?I’d take my passion for ink to the next level. I’d travel to Bali to experience the traditional hand-tapping tattoo method a form I’ve always wanted to learn more about. It would be a full-circle moment: combining my love for tattoos with the respect I have for different histories and techniques. The rest would go toward building a solid life for my family because being a young parent in Canada isn’t easy, and everything I do is for them.
