Enter For FreeMy most recent tattoo was inspired by Marine flash and my grandfathers dedication and sacrifices he made for our family and this country. I was in Oceanside San Diego and had to grab some flash while in town. I was able to get a shin piece done of an eagle crested dagger that originally read “death before dishonor” but my artist was super cool about letting me change up the text and now it read “Browne Fodness Chavez”, which are my grandmothers maiden name, my moms maiden
If your ink could speak, what would it say?It would say all the things I can’t articulate with words alone. My ink shows love, it shows loss, it’s deeper than just looking cool or fitting in. My ink is a reflection of all the trials and tribulations in life that I had to go through to get to where I am, and it helps guide me to where I’m going.
What would you do with the $25,000?I would love to first off love to be able to buy some sort of used car. I haven’t had a car in over 8 years just because it’s been easier to save money that way, but having a car would free me up to a lot more work and would allow me the freedom to further pursue a career in illustration. As well as saving a little for my next travel piece, and some for my family, I would invest in myself as an artist and illustrator first.
